My participation in an online collection of photographic work by various artists worldwide explores imagery that piques a more spartan and purposed existence. The trials and tribulations of the two years during the pandemic have resonated with many, shifting towards a calmer, richer expression focused on details and experiences.
This introspective proposition refocuses our attention on daily life's small, slow mercies.
Recent circumstances have required us to embrace stillness - a virtue too often missing from our collective livelihood. Newfound appreciation for introspection, home rituals, and simple acts of care have inspired new approaches to expression and art making.
‘Still’ brings together the works of thirteen artists from around the globe who commonly discovered new creative inspiration from our imposed slower pace, highlighting the silver lining of solitude and the humble power of living in the present.TRNK NYC, Curator 2019
